Making the wire mesh that forms the wall of the coop strong and flexible, it is easy to keep away predators without causing any congestion inside the chicken coop. Digging in and placing the wire mesh a few inches into the soil will keep out the burrowing predators that might otherwise dig through the soil and get into the chicken coop to have a tasty snack.
